Really tempted to get the MSI GT70-2OC at the price, it looks like a solid laptop. However I'm still not 100% sure whether I'm going to go laptop or desktop but at the moment I'm in favour of going laptop for convenience.

Anyway, for those in the know or who own it, how well does it do on Battlefield 4? Can it play on max settings at all without noticeable fps issues?

What's it like for upgrading the RAM? Something an intermediate PC user could handle on their own? If I did get it, one of the things I'd be doing within a few months would be wanting to upgrade the RAM to 16gb so this is a big one for me.

Also, anyone have any idea when the Lenovo y510p laptop is going to start making it's way to the UK? That's the other laptop I'm looking at (the 16gb x2 750m SLI model) however at the moment the only way I'd be able to get that is by importing it if I want that model.

You can usually upgrade everything
DDR3 -> 4 obv not but you can put faster ram in
You can upgrade to the XM processors which will on par with high end desktop i7's
On most laptops, you can also upgrade the GPU a generation or 2 (sometimes 3 as with some Alienwares)

However at £1600, I would not go for that MSI, it comes with a 770M which won't fair well with BF4. You will need atleast a 780M or 8970M (7970M).

I would go for an OCUK system as youll be able to get better specs probably for less money.

As for the Lenovo, they didn't bring the last gen (650M SLI) to the UK, so I doubt they will bring their new gen. to the UK
