Anyone got the new gears maps?

So MS finally got their own way and are making us pay for them if we want them now? :(

I haven't played Gears for ages but I'd just wait till they're free.
 
If I can nick my gf's CC I'l buy them, it isn't like its breaking the bank. Will keep me entertained for 5 minutes.

I think many are like me and are just sticking to principles now. I am starting to get a bit sick of XBLM and the prices they are charging, and some of the content they are giving.

Even Major Nelsons Blog is just one big advert for 'what is for sale today' And one of the features in the next update is a 'Marketplace Blade'

I know someone is gonna say 'Don't like it don't buy it', well we aint :p and i hope MS get the hint.
 
Thats fair enough, but I like the game so want the maps. If it was a game I didn't play often obviously I wouldn't bother.
 
I will be buying, will get better value from them than some of the arcade games I have bought, was there this much fuss over the new rainbow maps that were released? dont even recall a thread about those maps for some reason....

Nope but the devs never said they wanted the content to be free, and all the press about how the customers are treated right.

Also with RS:V you got 5 maps and 2 new game modes for the same 800 points.
 
I'd rather spend the money on something worth while. I can't justify spending what? £6, on a few maps. So no I won't be buying these.

M$, to be quite frank can shove it where the sun don't shine.

With the mammoth failure rates with these consoles, the least M$ can do is to make content like this FREE!

Nope Nope Nope

No way -- payed 50 quid for the game when it came out -- not paying any 800 points for 4 maps -- come on microsoft dont ya think u guys get more than enough money out of us

we pay 40 quid for a years sub 2 play on xbl -- now u r wanting more money of us -- only because Gears of War is the most played game on live -- its the quickest way for the (blah blah blah 2 make more money )
