anyone got their copy of haze yet?

look at the latest R6V, absolute pants, poor graphics,same old gameplay, more like an add on than a full game, online isnt much better as well, but its rated well??

I take it your talking about R6V2?

Why is it 'absolute pants'?
The graphics whilst not exactly Crisis standard do the job perfectly well.
I'll give you that it is more like R6V1.5 than R6V2 but what game isn't these days? do you really think the likes of Gears of War 2 is REALLY going to be THAT much different than Gears1 for example?

R6V2 is rated highly because at the end of the day it is a very very good game, about the best tactical shooter you will find on consoles.

Eurogamer gave it a 4/10. And while you are right, some review sites do tend to give poor games good ratings not many sites give good games poor ratings.

Saying that, Eurogamer gave Chromehounds 4/10 and I loved it so your milage may vary. To me haze looks pretty much like a generic FPS with little to distinguish it from the crowd. But then I felt RFoM was also pretty generic with little to make it stand out.
 
i know one thing that will irritate me about it, all that macho goony talk, and i suspect there may wel be some heay rock music to go with it too.
 
Reading a few Haze owner reviews and its exactly what i expected a pretty much standard FPS game, just that some FPS games get a free pass on some faults that other games are marked down for. I'll probably rent this game and i expect i will enjoy it to a degree.

These are my thoughts too mate, nothing new or ground breaking here, just an average shooter that has been way over-hyped. I will still rent it but I wouldn't buy it.

Hey it can't be any worse than SoF or Turok :p
 
The 4 player online co-op and vehicles online seem coollll?

Surely the multiplayer aspect of the game will be 10/10 but the single player may be a bit samey?
