Anyone had a Palit card develop a grinding noise from a fan?

I have a Palit 1070 Super Jetstream that's been great for the few months i've had it but it's started making a noise that sounds like something's getting caught in the fan blades. I've checked and there's nothing there fouling either of the fans it just seems that one of them has decided to sound like a small tractor.

I dont see that I have much choice but to RMA it but i'm genuinely concerned OCUK might think i'm some weirdo that break everything he owns. In the last few months i've had to return a Razer mouse that broke, a Rajintek AIO that had a pump fault and a Noble Chair that was completely wonky.

Anyway, i was wondering if Palit have a history of unreliable fans or if i've just gotten unlucky?

Ta.

Probably using the cheapest possible fans and a bearing has gone. Been plenty of people reporting dodgy fans on the cheaper brands like palit.

Might sound like a stupid reply, but did you remove all the fan 'stickers' ?

I left one of the clear sticker covers over the centre of one of my fans, and it gradually worked loose over time, creating a sound like grinding.

Took me ages to work out what was causing it :o
