Anyone had any problems with DPD?

I was supposed to be delivered a psu by them today but they never turned up and there has been no contact.

Ocuk sent me a link to the dpd website to track my order. It only has two entries both yesterday:

19.18 Stoke - Customer data received
21.17 Hub3 confirmed at hub

I am presuming I should have seen more entries on this page?

If they have "lost" the package has anyone else experienced this - any idea how long it should take to resolve?

That looks about right given that unless you specified Saturday delivery it probably won't move to the next hub and then go out for delivery until very early monday morning (they just picked it up Friday and booked it in at the first Hub in the chain, chances are at some ungodly hour Monday morning it'll get booked in at the hub for the delivery, and then onto the van).

It was classed as a next day delivary - does that not I include Saturdays?

I have had a couple of Next Day deliveries from DPD take more than 1 day. Some of their depots seem to get really busy, especially the one that delivers to me

Next working day is Monday. Unless you specified Saturday delivery when you ordered as Werewolf said.

You select and pay a little more for that one.

Next day delivery won't arrive on a Saturday - you have to pay extra for Saturday deliveries.
The number of Fridays I'm tempted to order a new toy for the weekend, only to realise it won't turn up until Monday unless i pay through the nose for a Saturday delivery and so don't bother....

It was an rma on it's way bAck to me so I didn't specify or pay for any type of delivery.

I am happy enough with Monday, it's just I assumed it was today so waited in the house for it!

Working days are Monday-Friday. Not sure of the history of the term but they really ought to come up with something better given that so many people work Saturday/Sunday.

Default will have been standard (i.e. next working day) delivery unless you specified (and possibly paid for) something else. Monday it is then.
