Anyone had issues with GTA 1 from rockstar classics pack?

Yep, on my rig in sig it BSODs when i load the level with a video memory manager fatal error or something like that anyways.
Strangely runs perfectly in my windows 7 laptop tho (both using x64 Ultimate).
Was only gonna play it on the laptop tho, so not too fussed about finding out why it's crashing, since that's the only time my PC has BSOD'd.

Probably not much help, but have you checked threads over at the Steam forums to check if it's a common problem?

Nah, hadn't bothered checking there as I'm not really bothered about it on this PC, but just had a quick look and disabling the second monitor makes it work, for me anyways. Runs perfectly too

I had this problem aswell it is a resoultion issue, well it was for me, i suppose all of you on here will have two or more monitors, well you have to disable the monitors, so that only the primary monitor is on and it should work. That was what fixed the issue with GTA 1.
ok found a fix that works
on this page - http://gtamp.com/gta1/
get the GTA fixer and extract to the game directory, run it before you play and its all good, appears the game has a habit of braking its own files lol
if it goes mad again, just run the fixer and bobs your uncle
