Anyone had problems playing youtube full screen on IE?

Hi guys,

We have noticed a good few computers, when made full screen giving us the 'An error has occurred' problem. I've been testing and it doesn't seem to be only full screen. If i play normal (not fullscreen) then make the window bigger on my 1080 monitor it will get to a certain size and then give me this error. It appears that i can only go to 1024 x 768 full screen anything else and it errors.

PCs are dell optiplex 3020.
All up to date updates
Video drivers up to date (on board).

Any ideas guys?

Work is not really giving me the option to use any other internet browser. Yeah i know.

Sounds like a graphics driver problem.

I am fully upto date on the intel HD 4000 drivers.

Stuck on where to go now.

Isn't IE redundant now? what happens if you use Edge or Chrome?

Argh, after some testing it appears to be the HTML5. Well i think so anyway.

If i go on daily motion or any other video playing sites that runs with flash, i can full screen etc. Just appears to be youtube which i cannot.

Tested with Chrome and that works fine. We're on a windows 7 domain so cannot test Edge i'm afraid.

Any way to bypass HTML5 youtube ?

Hi, cheers for the reply.

This is the fix, just to add closure to the thread. I have added youtube to our internet policy GPO to run in comparability.

Seems to be allowing us to go full screen now. Thanks for all your help chaps.
