I have had enough of the x-fi software. It is totally shocking!!!
The software always changes the settings what i have applied. Ive got the latest drivers and software for the product.
Sometimes it thinks theres headphones plugged in and and jacks the WAVE up to 100% nearly blowing my speakers. Sometimes when i start up theres crackly, like scartching sound and only goes away after a reboot.
Other times it goes to 4.1???? when i have 5.1. Its just a big hassle when i buy a quality sound card (first one i have ever bought) and it doesnt work hassle free.
I just hope that creative sort it out soon.
Im sure its not the actual sound card itself.
If anyone can point me in the right direction to fix some problems that will be extremely helpful.
Dont mean to sound like a rant but it is anoying.
Thank You
Josh
