Anyone had the snip?

Yeah mine was on the NHS as my private medical insurance doesnt cover anything like that. You just need to go (and your partner if applicable) and talk to the someone before they will book you in for one, kind of like a counselling session. Actual procedure took less than half an hour i think but to be honest I wasnt watching the clock :).
Oh btw you dont need to shave the lot, wish someone told me this as got carried away with the hair removal cream and ended up looking like a pre pubescent person, only to be told by the nurse that nah it aint necessary :)and the regrowth of hair ended up being more of a hassle than the actual procedure in the end.

I wonder if, while they're messing about, could they connect it all up to a bottle of vanilla extract. Would make the experience a bit tastier for the lady.

Yup - had it done back in Feb under local anaesthetic, uncomfortable yes but not painful. had to have one of the stiches removed before it disolved as it started to "irritate" the cut - no bother really.

Went back to work two days later.

Three months later got the "you've an empty swimming pool, go enjoy yourself" letter from the hospital after two "samples".

Very much njoying my carefree, bareback escapades with the wife since :-)

And no chance of getting her blonde 25yr old sister preggers either! Double win!

It's a minor op.

When I had mine they gave me some local anaesthetic to put on your balls a couple of hours before the op, it numbed everything and I didn't feel a thing.

Worst bit was wearing tight fitting briefs for a week after!

I had mine done in Germany years back when I was serving there. The Germans are not renowned for their gentle shaving techinique so I took it upon myself to diy. All I can remember is laying on the slab after the pre-med feeling woosy and the male nurse coming in with a disposable razor in hand. He lifts up the flap and nods saying "nice shave". I prompltly fell asleep and all I felt was the initial cut and then oblivion.

:D

No way, no and never.

In that order. No one is going near my tackle with sharp objects!

You had it done under a general? Ya big wuss. I had a local - was quite cool talking to the Doctor and Nurse and asking them questions about how/why they were doing certain things.
