So i got some DDR4 Viper Steel PVS432G320C6K 32GB (2x16gb) ram for my ITX Aorus Pro Wifi Z390 board today. Plugged it in, booted to windows fine no probs! Remembered i needed to turn on XMP so restarted and tried to get into bios... but it just hangs on the splash screen!
Tried all sorts including resetting the CMOS and bios and still won't go into bios. Just hangs there forever...
Switch my old ram back in and works straight away, can boot into bios no problem.
Whats causing this? It will allow me to boot into windows but not bios? Not had this before so its quite puzzling. Windows reads it correctly too 32gb at 2400mhz default. Kit is rated for 3200 with xmp enabled but i can't get into bios to enable it.
Edit: I am on the F7 bios version as well which is pretty upto date. The next bios update only enables RBar and some cpu security fixes.
