AcoustiPack Deluxe v2 Acoustic Material Kit

How much on average would you say it quietens a case, is it worth it ?

What about temps, are they greatly increased (if at all), even with tons of fans ?

Also, does more fans = less heat, is there eventually a cut off point where more fans would not lower heat anymore ?

Good news it keeps the noise down in your PC, but the down side is that it also keeps the heat in.... would not really recommend it....

Does not make any difference at all. Just increases temperatures.

Avoid it like the plague, it is a pain to remove.

To make a rig quiet you have to hit the sources of the noise, remove the items that make the noise and bang your rig is silent.

What coolers, fans and case are you running?

The best noise reduction tip is to move it further away. For every metre further away it appears 3dB quieter.

Do not use acoustic matting please. I made the mistake of using it on my Xaser III. What a mistake, evil evil stuff!

the noise aint bad on my PC, the Tuniq Tower makes an awful racket when turned up full.

But ive just noticed it makes like a 1 or 2 degree difference with it up high compared to down low.

Got 2 Akasa Amber Fans and the akasa mirage btw.

Getting the Akasa replacement side panel with built in fan for some extra cooling for the sake of it so I can leave the tuniq down low at pretty much all times.

Might also get one of them rear exhausts you put in the PCI slot.
