Hi guys, i have a samsung 971p monitor here, and i need some info on the power supply.
so if someone could have a quick look at theres for me, that would be great!!
the info i need is the polarity of the dc connector that plugs into the monitor itself.
it is usually indicated by a diagram like this:
for those that dont know, the diagram indicates that in this case, the pin in the middle, is postive, and the ring round the outside is negative, but that is not always the case, it could be the other way around.
so i need to know which way is correct for this monitor.
it should have a diagram similar to the above on the powersupply, or on the DC plug itself. alternatively, you could measure it with a multimeter if you have one?
any other info on the power supply would be useful too, i think it is 12 Volts / 3 Amps, could someone confirm?
This info would really help me out.
Many thanks
Andy
