Anyone have any idea when HL2 EP3 is released?

I heard they are aiming to do a dual release and bring it out at the same time as Duke Nukem Forever.
 
Wait until e3 im sure they will release a trailer of some sort. But knowing valve and how long it takes to make sequels even though they have a great engine to work with maybe a 2009 trailer.

So yeah, somewhen in the future.

But I have faith that it will kick arse, so im not to bothered. Just as long as I dont have to buy HL2, Ep1 and Ep2 again!
 
I think the guys have probably been hard at work on the game. It might be quicker than we expect for the game to be released. I do bilieve L4D will come out before and then maybe valve will bring out the blue box or silver box which contains Half-Life series and L4D
 
IIRC it was originally planed that the episodes would come out every 6-9 months or so.
However, there was around an 18 months wait for Ep2 IIRC and I'd wager it'll be at least the same for ep3.
 
is ep3 like a whole new game? My memory is poor but there didnt seem to be much more left after ep2 ending.

While we are on the subject whens counter-strike 2.0 out? That fat legend Gabe Newell was abit cagie about it a while back.

Would be silly if they werent gonna/are making it, as its a massive franchise.
 
Well they must be working on something, but when they want to, Valve can definitely keep their mouth shut (unless there's another leak :p).
