Really enjoyed this for a couple of days buts there’s just no depth to the gameplay :(

2 days u cant have got any accolades or known if ** template was good or not. There are always people asking question on templates, its not quite and straight forward as u make out. In 2 days u cant have tasted the lack of end game content. However at lvl 15 u can enter a PvP zone and enter an arena even earlier, so the impatient PvP is catered for.

The end game consists of badge hunting and PvP and a rare oppotuity to do Recluse Strike force.

ive tried the fileplanet one but it keeps sayin im restricted cause im not in the EU when i live in britain. Ive tried various proxys but it aint workin :(

All u need from fileplanet is the serial key code. Just sign up for a gamespyID (if u dont already have 1), and complete the form to be sent a key. Then make an account at ncsoft and enter your trial code into the city of heroes page. Then download the client from anywhere, all u need is the updater; it will download any files missing.

Try here:

Using that file from the FTP (1Mb .exe), im test installing it and its downloading pretty fast 355Kb/s

I had a far better experience of CoH when I imported it from the States. Servers are much fuller than the EU ones. Its a great game, I used to play it with a mate and with a team of 8 it was a great laugh.

Yes, its very limited, but the lack of items I think makes for a more enjoyable experience, you don't get any of the selfishness that you do in WoW

The sidekick system and the fact that you get big XP rewards from helping someone do a quest also adds massively to the community. In WoW, everyone just wants to complete their own quests, and they'll be damned if they want to help you.

Took the words out of my mouth :)

CoH does lack depth in certain areas, but after six months I am still really enjoying playing it; I was sick to death of WoW after six months.

The sidekick/exemplar system means that you can group with friends who are higher or lower than you without a problem, many other MMO's could learn from it.

And play on US servers, the EU ones are too underpopulated.
