I have the S300 SFF case (won't/can't link to it as OCUK doesn't stock it), the one with the handle. I'm considering a used ASUS ProArt RTX 4080 for it, if I can grab a used one for a decent price in the next few weeks (an d it makes sense vs the 5070TI). Anyone have experience of it? Seems like the only high end card of this gen that will fit in my case.

No personal experence of it but I should expect it to be a very good card as it came out so long after the Strix and other models. I should imagine any bugs would have been worked out long before it came out. And the fact it's a premium model too.

I have the 4080 Super ProArt. I like the card but the hot spot delta grew, over a few months, to the point that I repasted with PTM7950 (which brought it back to about12c delta from over 20C before). I had the same behavior from my Asus Tuf 6800XT, so I suspect it has something to do with whatever TIM Asus uses on their GPU's, but that's still only a sample of two cards.

There is a moderate amount of coil whine on my 4080S under heavy load but not too bad.

The card seems to be well-built and the cooler is effective (after the TIM upgrade) for such a small footprint.
