So I bought the Acer Nitro VG271UP less than 2 months ago direct from Acer.
Amazing monitor for the price I paid (£230) but the stand is beyond useless - a small knock of the monitor sent it crashing down onto my keyboard. The damage isn't as bad as I expected, it still works perfectly but there's a couple of marks and one in particular which is very visible with blank screens (see pics):

If I RMA this will I get a huge bill for the repair? Of course I'd pay shipping costs, but I'm happy to shell out £25 or so for shipping to get this fixed.
