A couple of comments regards to the lay out of the site. In general, I like it. It looks relatively modern and isn’t too cluttered. However, is tthe blog style layout really suited for this application? When you have loads of product reviews up will the user have any means to navigate them or rate them? The comments seem to flow with the main body at the moment. It could get messy. Also, im sure these are just test blocks of text but make sure your reviews actually rate the product, giving pros and cons even if you have to dig beneath the surface to find them. Don’t just list the specs and say there you go :)

Also, this is probably a bug but on my widescreen hardly any of the screen actually gets used. Here is a screenshot of the page (res 1680x1050)

Can i make a request? Review the Rio Carbon. The best MP3 Player out there. Period. (Well maybe the Rio Karma.)

About £60, 4GB, plug and play so not only none of that crappy software you need, but means you can easily transfer files between any PC etc. Some nice firmwear upgrades too.

Wow, i wish rio would pay me money for this :)

hey all ;)
me and my mate are starting off a non-profit website for MP3 Player reviews... the only problem is that we're stuck for a name....

Wouldn't that be more correctly termed "Not for profit apart from the blatent google ads".... ;)

firstly, thank you too everyone with their suggestions, its all a real help :D
secondly, we have decided (virtually) to call it MPFreeReviews

in reply to this, we are (trying) to add a rating system for the products :)
the navigation will be through catergories, (Size, Price, Rating, Make) and yes, they are just temporary test posts taken from the apple website

thanks to all of you :)

yea, we spent a lot of time choosing. we didn't not choose it (:S) because we didn't like it, i thought it was a great idea, along with many others, it just got out-voted, sorry.

btw, feel free to sign up and post comments when its up and running :)
