Anyone have much experience with Gallery2?

I have it running on my site to host albums of the various meets we have in GD, and I figure it could do with looking a little better. I'm looking to customise a style that fits in with the current forum one, but I'm not really sure where to start.

Anyone care to point me in the right direction?

LOL. It never is. I've only made one tweak to mine: changing the header graphic, which required modifying the theme.tpl file so it would accomodate the new size. Maybe when I run through that I'll find some shortcuts to pass on to you.

edit: I'm guessing you would just like to modify the logo and the theme colours, correct?

Yeah, I cant see me wanting to alter much more. The basic layout is good enough, but it does look a little bland.

When I customised mine I just chopped and changed all the CSS by hand, but IIRC Tesla said he found something that does it far easier

There is no tool I'm afraid. Tesla just played about with the css in a custom colour pack (a module). Easiest way to alter the look if you're not bothered about the layout.
