Anyone have the Dell E228WFP

I've seen a lot of people having major light leaking issues. So I'd stick around and wait for a revision or two before you get one :D

Looks like a very good screen though! HDCP

Hm, was gunner get one in the next week or so. Might just have to wait though if there are problems with them.

Anyone else find that they are having problems?

I just saw the price. Absolute joke (UK in general, not OcUK). Is it not coming in at around $300 dollars in the US?

Not fair :(
Dell should be investigated by the EU to ask why their prices here are so high. Even after imprt duties and vat this should be selling for £220 max

Yea, they are cheaper across the pond, but thats the UK for you. Got to live with it.

So no one with one yet?

Decided to take the plunge, there is a bit of backlight bleeding but nothing to serious[to me that is]no dead pixels happy as yet, still to do any tweaking with it.
Looking round they all seem to suffer this drawback to some extent thing that swayed me was the 4 year Next business day warranty[via Dell] ocuk give with it as opposed to the 3 years with Dell themselves.

HI there

Its the UK and it certainly is not fair. :(

In the UK a 2001/2002 Porsche 911 Turbo X50 will set me back circa £45,000.

Wheras in the USA I can get an identical specification or better for less than £30,000.

Work that one out, especially considering the cars are built in the EU to begin with yet the Americans still get it far cheaper. :(

Looks worse in pic than it looks in front of me now, maybe crap camera.
Looking for pics of other monitors to compare.

Yes it would be great if you could actually get pics of other monitors to compare the bleeding.

Actually of the dozen or so pics i've seen, yours looks to have the worst bleeding though :P Probably all due to camera.
