Anyone have the H70? Thinking of getting one.

Hi guys,

Straight to the point. Im currently using a Corsair A70 which i bought last September and its been fine. managed to clock my i7 930 to 4ghz with out any problems(using mx-3). But with the warm weather the idle temps are creeping up, use to be 32c-35c but now are at 40c-45c so with summer coming im wanting something that will cool my chip better, getting bloody noisey aswell.

Will one of these fit my Antec 1200 case? How easy are they to install? or should i buy 2 Apache Blacks to replace the corsair fans?

Get a couple of Apache blacks, clean off the old TM and replace with new, re-seat the HS with fans and give the inside of your case a good clean out of dust.

Yeah think ill do that. i looked at the A70 and it has quite abit of dust inside, whats the best to clean it?

Very easy to install, love mine. Fans are very noisy though.

Use a can of compressed air or one of those air pumps that blow up air beds etc, or use a 1" - 2" paintbrush and a vacuum cleaner or just run it under the tap, but remember to dry it thoroughly before re-seating on to the cpu.
