Anyone having issues with steam recently?

Over the last couple of weeks ive had to reinstall it multiple times. Seems at random i will get a crash of some sort and when i try and restart the program it starts minimised and then stops responding.

It all seems to have started around the time i added the crysis 2 shortcut to steam, that initially started crashing steam as soon as i clicked on it. Ended up removing a shortcuts vtf file to get it removed then re-added, worked fine for a few days but this morning steam seems to be pretty flaky again. :confused:

been working fine for me recently, with the odd freeze due to it starting an update of a game.

i occasionally get overlay crashing in game when i've got a flash based site open in the web browser too.

have you tried checking your disk drives for errors?

Going to run a drive scan though i know another guy with the same issues.
