Anyone having issues with xbox live?

i agree since the update its been a POS and its actually making me start to dislike the console. i havent had issues with reliability etc touch wood but now there starting to irratate the **** out of me with this lag. It even lags telling you what games you have installed on your console.
 
What angers me is that even Xbox.com is slow. I'm trying to track down the latter mass effect achievements and the site sometimes takes about ten F5's before I get anywhere. I didn't even want to renew my XBL subs because I predicted this would happen ages ago. Then my subs auto-renewed a few weeks ago and I was annoyed.
 
Xbox live has been terrible the past few weeks, im also having these problems, seems like everyone does as my friends are always appearing online then signing off(whenever I can get online) MS please fix this as I just paid 40quid for sub, so far doesnt seem like money well spent :/
 
It's still locking up, it'd be nice if the necessary infrastructure was in place before offering cheap '300' to everyone. Ah spoke too soon going into a cod4 match as we speak.
 
I haven't been online tonight but i haven't noticed anything wrong on any other days after the patch, saying that, i don't really play multiplayer on the xbox, it has only been used for swos this week, have the gold sub "just incase"
 
I cant recover my gamertag at the moment. So I cant be arsed to do any SP as im on achievement hunting and I cant play MP on live.

weird to see so many people having problems at other times. live for me is normally excellent...only tonight it's gone mammaries up.

ms will sort it :)
 
Been working brilliant apart from the last 30 mins where the blades (apart from setup) are showing the spinning dots!

Broke.
 
Have been playing coop with 2 peeps from this forum and had intermittent lags all night. Have been playing for bloody hours too. :)
 
It's been playing up for me today as well. Trying to download 300 but the download is going really slow. Done 2% in the last 1 and a half hours.
 
Working fine for me now, had a good few matches with no lag or connection problems.

TBH I find live far less frustrating than PC gaming, which is a pitty becasue just berfore Halo 3 came out I spent about £1500 on a pc :( If it wasnt for eve online and browsing the net, the PC would hardly get turned on.

I'm also peeved with xbox Live, ever since Halo3 and MS outsourcing Live to a different company that was doing it its gone abit Pete Tong, and i like using xbox.com website a lot also and thats now near enough useless and takes forever to load, needless to say i ain't renewing my sub come March
