I'm sure that if it had been a different time of year, then these errors would have been sorted by now, with Christmas, MS was probably running a skeleton shift office staff, so any problem solving would, in theory take longer. The obvious solution is, if more servers are needed for the number of users hitting live at christmas time, and they have sales records to show X number of units sold in the months coming up to christmas, they should have gotten more servers up & ready before christmas.
As much as i can understand why people are peeved, its usually, as said, an impecible service, its been a hassle, but i'm happy to forgive and forget. Discarding the 2 weeks of problems since christmas (10 days here, started working fine on the 3rd jan) i've had perfect performance from, and access to Live, since 2nd Dec 2006, aside from scheduled downtimes.
