Anyone Heard Of Dead Island

Morning all.

Any of you well informed, upstanding members of the interweb community heard of a game called Dead Island?

I was just reading another forum, (NOT A COMPETITOR... before you mods go ape crazy on my ass!) and some guy posted a few piccys of this game.

Have I been duped, or have you well educated, more trustworthy people heard of this?

Just had a look on Games Press and it does exist. It's being developed by Techland but aside from some pics there are no other details on there.

Well from what I've read on GameSpot it seems like it will be OK. Wasn't entirely impressed with earlier Techland games to be honest so will have to wait and see.

Anyone getting a 'Far Cry with zombies' feeling? In relation to those piccys... not potential gameplay/storyline.

Agreed.

I like the idea, but those pics don't really sell the game to me. Hopefully it'll be good though

Dead Island. I've followed it's progress for some time and I'm really looking forward to it. Techland have some good games under their belt and I'm sure they won't disappoint.
