Anyone help with game play problem

Playing TF2 sometimes I don't move other times I move too far. Sometimes the keys don't respond. I thought it might just be TF2 so tried STALKER and although not as obvious (slower pace game) I move a bit stop, move a bit more stop. As it seems both games are affected its not an online problem.

OS is vista64. 4GB ram, E8200 @ 3.0 and a clocked 8800GTS 640 so it shouldn't really struggle to run these games.

STALKER I can put up with it but TF2 gets so bad its unplayable.

Put your system back to defaults, chances are it's the OCing. I can't really think of anything else that would cause it other than A/V software being a pain in the rear.

I got a problem just like that when I used atitool to change fan speed at certain gpu temps. Could be something in your tray that is doing it, try to cut down the amount of apps that start with windows.
