Anyone here a Business Analyst?

Yup I'm a BA. As others have said their roles vary depending on the industry they work in.

It can be a boring job unless you get into the right sector. Those who work as Financial BA's probably get paid more but will most likely have desk jobs and do internal projects.

Become a BA in banking..

I've know very dimwitted people get 400-600 per day

Probably the hardest of the BA sectors to break into though

I kind of got slotted into a BA role, before that it was a focus on process / big data analysis within the IT function for a bank. There's a few BA's here but some of them seem to be 'technical BA's' dealing with escalations from the Service Desk or Lv2..

Some of my day to day consists of the following depending on which stream I’m working on;

Requirements elicitation - operational / business requirements to technical
Various things throughout the SDLC - FRS, UAT plans etc
Process writing / mapping / rationalisation / cutting wastage etc
Use cases
Gap analysis
Data modelling / trending / cost analysis
