As per title, I'm thinking of buying the Mclaren Mercedes 'Essential Jacket' as per >> Clicky Click Click

Or do you reach the end of the season and think, **** i've wasted my money on that now? :p
 
I always think those jackets make you look like a train in plane spotter. They are normally in that stuff around airports I have worked at.

I collected all Villeneuves caps when he was racing but never wore them.
 
Still got my Brawn GP Button T shirt as well, feels a bit retro wearing it! I've got a couple of McLaren T-Shirts as well.

Quite liked the black waterproof jacket Whitmarsh and Hamilton were wearing yesterday with the sort of bobbly material they're £150 quid on there though.....ouch!

I too like that jacket Ned, bit too much money though, and a weird looking material. The logos look glued on & it's like one huge advert for Vodafone! The cheaper jacket looks more subtle IMO. But then again, it's £80!!
 
Not really merchandise for teams, but I did have an F1 hat. Got a Button hat from the Honda days, and a cartoon Button one from last year because it looks cool.
 
I buy some McLaren stuff - it's all been good quality and not too over the top on the branding. I usually buy it when the price is reduced though. I've picked up quite a few bits of team clothing in TK-Maxx, like McLaren team shirts for £9 and a team jacket that was £149 retail for £60.
 
Have a BAR cap lying around somewhere.

A couple of RBR polo's from CS|NutS.

And a rocket red shirt from McLaren I bought at Spa.
 
I picked up a shed load of McLaren stuff for me and my dad at the end of the 2009 season. They sell it all off really cheap when they're clearing it out. I think it was £4 odd a t-shirt, similar price for hats and so on. Have to move quick though, but it's actually very good quality stuff. If you buy stuff without driver names on it's good for the next season too. I wouldn't ever pay full-whack, and I don't wear the stuff religiously, it's not all die-hard Motorsport apparel, some stuff is pretty nice besides.

Weren't they wearing the Hugo Boss version (which has the proper bobbly material)? 'Cos that's £360. :p

I had a DC McLaren cap from ages ago, although that was a present from my motor racing obsessed uncle. :)

Funnily enough I was looking randomly at the exact same jacket this morning and contemplating buying it.

I've been following F1 since 2008 and support Jenson Button, so I bought the waterproof Brawn jacket and don't regard that as a mistake. It was a shame that the team folded after a year, but what an item to have now considering their impact in their one and only season in the sport. I also wore it with my mclaren cap to Silverstone last year.
 
I usually only buy team merchandise when I go to the races.

Unfortunately, last time I bought a load of McLaren gear they both crashed out and everyone around me offered their own team gear for consolodation :(
 
Can't possibly justify spending that much on it. Far too expensive. The last thing I bought was a Classic Team Lotus shirt, which was very reasonable compared to the prices that the F1 teams charge.
 
Have 3 caps, Schumachers '7 times' ferrai hat and 2 Williams hats (a Rosberg and a Barrichello).

Also have a Williams zip up and a coat, have to say i don't wear them all that often the coat really does make you a walking advertisement :p
 
I've got a load of McLaren, Team Lotus and Lotus Racing stuff.

Much of the McLaren stuff is team kit, Team Lotus is mainly JPS/Camel and that era.
