Anyone here fit many multi-gym's?

Hi, first off bear with me its a pretty long post to follow and hopefully i can keep it easy to follow, anyway i bought a multi-gym the other day, came today and ive been on about 2 hours this morning and the past 2 hours trying to fit the bugger.

I reckon i have done roughly 60% or so but these instructions are doing my napper in

Here are some pics (show my shabby worksmanship and poor photo taking

) so far to show what we are dealing with, the gym is called "V-Fit Herculean LFG2"

Anyway i was hoping someone who has had the joy of fitting a few gyms themselves wouldnt mind lending a helping hand at certain points i get stuck at.

Currently im confused what to do with the pec dec arms, as you can see in the pic below that bush hoop thing connects on top and bottom of the arm, well its supposed to to give it the ability to move sideways, im sure it has to drop into the hole otherwise there is not enough thread on the screws to tighten the nut, but it wont fit, so before forcing it in and potentially getting it stuck i thought id ask first.

I will appreciate any help you gurus can offer me, cheers!!!

i reckon its got to go back anyway, one of the clamps on the top where the pulley connects is twisted so the cable woudnt run true anyway.

what a chew on this is, any excercise i try to do includes some form of barrier :mad:

if i get my money back for this (cant be chewed with replacement parts) im just going to get a carl-lewis gym or something, im sure JJB Sports do them and might fit it.

well the price isnt a problem, well not too much, but i wonder if its overkill though for my first home-gym?

i used to go to a gym, now i dont have the time (dont say make time, its not possible!), a home-gym is the way to go for me, so i can spend time on it and not travelling to it.

any other suggestions as to gym's, whilst i am swayed to the one you already suggested, if i can find another one ideal for a FIRST time home gym i think this would be better, price range i would say £180-£250

i could always upgrade to a better machine in a few years time, i just want a good starter gym for the house.

i work between 5am-5pm it is not possible to join a gym, and pointless on a weekend, i never said i was not motivated, i wouldnt of spent best part of yesterday trying to put the thing up if i wasnt, that is not the issue.

what exercise programmes do they offer over the standard multi-gyms?

i dont have a problem spending up to £500, but i always figured for a starter homegym this might be a tad overkill.

3 hours is record time!

the cost i mentioned is just for a courier to pick up it, i think the weight is 64kg or something, i will just be glad to get rid of the crap to be honest, but some money aside and look into these powercages, i dont fancy cheaping out on another gym for a similar thing to happen.

ahh, the price of doing excercise and training!
