Anyone here got a Netgear WNA3100 wifi usb adapter?

Bought one of these to go with my new router and I'm not getting very good speeds and signal. Actually it's much worse than an old draft 802.11n one I have in the same position (almost half the speed).

Drivers on the disc gave full speed on first connection then dropping to 11mbps :eek:

after a couple of seconds, new driver from the Netgear site improves things but still much slower than the old WN121T.

Any ideas? Just a dud one?

I've got one and it works fine for internet stuff, but I dont really transfer files over network so dont really know what speed it operates at. Are you using the netgear utility?

Yeah, I've tried it with both the utility and with just the drivers. It's still pants. I suppose I'll have to take it back and home PC world give me an exchange or something.
