Got one coming on monday a S37b model, bought it as im going to be going away on a few trips this year and Aus next year, so can happily fill it with divx and the like, ill post some pics etc when it comes but if anyones got one would like to hear what your thoughts are, from the reviews ive read it doesnt sound too bad even tho its just a 800mhz cpu

I dont know much about it but can I just ask, and i dont wish to be rude to you but.....

I cant understand why people go on holiday and want to take a lappy? Surely the point of going away is to try new things & "to get away from it all"

not watch the latest lost torrent.

Just wondering <3

It's not just for Holiday mate! but yes I see your point, i certainly wouldnt go on a holiday for a fortnight to use it every day,but having said that id propably prefer to sit in hotel/ apartment watching something like lost if the weather was bad than sit in some smelly British or Irish pub in spain etc :P

I read a review of your thing this morning and it got 7/10 from trustedreviews. It seems it falls down on value for money, that thing is £600 odd??

Would a eeepc 900 not do you? Thats around £320

Retail is £799 :O I've paid less that the price of the standard VYE37 exactly the same but with the 600mhz cpu, I'd thought about one of them but its 20gb (at best) against 120gb, i will probably have office and a few other apps etc installed so buy the time all thats done its not gonna have a lot of space left

I agree its not cheap, and i read the same review, now i just need to flog me M1330 :S

get the linux one and install ubuntu on to the asus 900, then get a 16gb sdhc card.

That would last you! and save you £300-400!!!!!!!!

36gb? unfortunately that wouldnt last me very long at all, plus with this i have the option (if i dare) to crack it open and put in a 250gb drive. Plus whilst not many people like vista i do and it came with it, and I like the touch screen, Id of saved about £260 without having to by a 16SD card although I know there cheap as chips now, but I do have a CF and SD slot on this so in theory I could add a 32gb cf and a 16gb sd to increase the 120gb it already has

Im sure eee's are good just not for me
