Ok basically I want a word with a gynaecologist about someone I know and was wondering where I can talk to one online in privacy. If theres one on here even better, if they dont mind msn or email

No medical advice.
We ask all members not to ask for, nor give out, medical advice. This is because if a member of these forums gave out medical advice that was incorrect, the owner of OcUK forums could be held responsible.

Think this is a bit border line to be honest.

damn I see your point. Is it safe if I just want to talk to someone I met here via msn?
I think if it's "off the Forum" then it's upto you what you do, but I think if you ask for advice and help withing the Forum "walls" then you are just asking for a holiday;)

Why not call NHS 24? Can't remember the number, but Google will.

I know my post is medical advice, but it's advising someone to seek medical advice from the proper source instead of the internet. ;)

Up to the powers that be... as you 'found' them here....? *shrugs shoulders*.
You could always try NHS direct? They might know the answers....

No holiday - it'll just get removed. As for the question, no, I don't know anywhere.

While they may not be gynaecologists, it's at least remotely possible the NHS direct helpline may be able to help.

Ah ok I'll leave it for now. Its not something for myself but the person in question wont seek the right sources atm. And its something pretty specific to that profession that I dont think a more general practitioner would know.

thanks for help though

Well I am booked in with a GP for something else anyway, I could always ask. But I am not sure how happy they are discussing other peoples issues. without that person there.
