It's getting quite popular now, so I'm guessing there must be a few of you who know what breakcore is (or isn't).

Here's a documentary for those who are wondering what it is, it has interviews with many of the more well known people in the scene... beware, there is the odd smeary tho:

You should move to Liverpool. Breakcore heaven.

Tempting, but Bristol also has it's fair share. My fav being Goatlab night, as you get in for free if you wear a goat outfit! There's also bangface in London, so it seems to be pretty well catered for.

In-fact, after watching some of that docu, I regularly get the chance to see a few of those guys perform. Check out the Class A audio label . I'm currently making a music vid for a band involved in class A called apatt .

Nice! I'd like to see the vid once it's done. Do you remember who you seen? The only breakcore vids I have seen are from Drop the Lime, and he's from the US.

I must admit, I've only heard of or seen half the people on that label, as I've only recently discovered it... I still find stuff like Scotch Egg a bit heavy going, but other stuff like Aaron Spectre is amazing IMO.

I like some of it, the more jungley, hardcore type stuff really. Some of it gets boring and annoying very quickly.

Yep, it's definately a mixed bag... and there;s a lot I don't like.
