I've too look after a friends rabbit for a few days while they're away over the weekend. Its a crazy little animal, only a few months old, and completely fearless.
I found out this morning that it likes to chew on wires, as when my back was turned the little bugger chewed through my telephone cable. So, I've got all the wire out of reach of it (I think...it can jump very high) and blocked up all the gaps behind the sofa, chairs etc with cushions.
Is there anything I should know about rabbits, do's and don'ts, as the firends wasnt able to tell me much before they left other than how much to feed it, and how to pick it up.
Its a wee terror for the dog too, the dog is completely unintrested in it, and the rabbit wants to know what the dog is, nibbling in the dogs fur, and at one point jumping up on the dogs back.
If I can get Daisy (the rabbit) to sit still long enough, I'll get a piccy of it taken.
Oh yes...I'm also slightly allergic to it, its made me feel like I've got hayfever.
...but I'll be alright for a few days.
