I'm serious and am not kidding.

I hear that stuff can be kind of deep and a new experience but at the same time a bit too far.
Never considered it, although, i'm pretty bored with the books i'm reading right now.

Cheers :)

I did once...then I closed the newsgroup reader, blushed and used my newly gained knowledge. :o

This kind?

"As he stared at her ample bosom, he daydreamed of the dual SU carburettors in his vintage Triumph Spitfire, highly functional yet pleasingly formed, perched prominently on top of the intake manifold, aching for experienced hands, the small knurled caps of the oil dampeners begging to be inspected and adjusted as described in chapter seven of the shop manual,"

:D

Never read any "sold as erotica" books but there are excellent novels out there that can be quite "erotic" I suppose. Try Complicity, by Iain Banks.

You mean like the letters page in Fiesta?

LOL nope cant say i have, id rather watch porn than pick up an erotic book. They are more or less catered for the women from what a friend told me, when he read one...said it was ever so soppy and romantic kinda crap:p.

Yes but when I go university next year and say in the interview I read books I would want to say I've read xxx books and talk about the narative style ;) (it should get me in! :D)

Yes. The stuff I have read isn't romantic either..... but I would imagine you get both kinds. It probably stems down to the fact that for a lot of men it's the visuals that push the right buttons, for women it's something deeper (although visuals aren't a bad thing ;) ). That said erotic writing can appeal to anyone, depending on the right context :)

Just for the record you're female right?
If so, i'd like to hear more of your opinion on this because I don't know not a single female that reads that type of literature.

:)

Same guy that did "The Algerbraist"?

Damn, thats a hard book to get into, its taken me about 3 attempts to get through to the actually story.

Its the whole and "insert name here" the leader of the such and such, of the such and such, of the third age etc etc etc.

I swear, one guy has a huge paragraph telling you what he is the leader of, and by the end of it youve forgotten what was at the beginning of the paragraph.

Getting good now though :D

As long as this stays free from inuendos and people approach it with a mature view then it should be ok to stay.

Just be very careful on the line you tread with it. :)

read and write.

try a google and you will come to a website named on the basis of literature and erotica[b/]

Most women read this stuff - just because they do not admit it does not mean it does not happen. Lots of their mags have erotic novels with them as freebies.

As said men = visual, women = mental.

I've never been interested in erotic literature. I'd rather look at pictures. But then I'm quite happy to accept that I have strong interests in traditional male pursuits too, such as footy, cars etc, so it's not really surprising.

PS...you got your bold end tag a bit borked :D

Seems like an opportunity to practice my cyber skills.

Also for the record no but I would be interested to know if anyone does, I bet someone does and is too shy.
