For landscapes etc.?

I've just bought one for 3 quid as there going quick on ebay, thought I might as well take a punt even if it doesn't fit properly!

I'll need one when taking photos at night but just wondering if any of you guys use them?

Don't think my 650d had anything but my 70d and my 7d2 have builtin levels. My tripod also has a little bubble spirit level which is fine for a rough level.

Rest is levelled in processing later for me :)

I've got one and it's usually on my camera - unless I'm having to use my speedlight. they are really good - much more practical than using the software spirit levels imho. Plus it gives me a sense of protecting the hot shoe contacts from the elements when I'm out shooting landscapes.

Having said all that - I've just remembered I took it off for a work's event and now I have no idea in what pocket of what camera bag the darned thing is hiding in!

I did buy one of the cheapo ones - took it off and have probably lost it for reasons that now escape me. I think maybe it was making some funny stuff happen due to being in contact with the hot shoe electrical connection pads? hmmm
