I've noticed if you open Firefox then immediately go to google.co.uk or google.com, with PIA not activated you get a 30s delay almost every time.

BUT, with PIA enable (connected), if you open Firefox, and go to google.co.uk or google.com, it's immediate.

So, what's your question? I'm not being sarcastic, you've just not actually asked anything and haven't given much information. What OS? PIA is connected how? SOCKS5? Browser extension? Their own app system-wide (OpenVPN? WireGuard?)? A third party app? What's the PIA settings? Access to LAN? DNS? Split tunnel/policy based routing? What servers? Firefox version? Addons? DoH/DoT?... You get the idea.

That aside, it sounds like a potential DNS, firewall or stale routing table issue. If PIA is no longer connected and browsing is lagging by such a monumental amount (30s is an age on the Internet), it could be that your NIC is still set to PIA's DNS. They won't be reachable outside the tunnel and Firefox will hang waiting for a reply that never comes. Once that gives up waiting and times out, the system looks to another DNS (like your router) and you're away again. That or, like I said, there's some stale firewall or routing issues.

Edit: Wait, isn't this the same issue you posted about three days ago and already marked solved?
