I've recently seen a PLX 3602 on offer for half price, £500 is still a lot of money tho and am sorely tempted to pick it up!
Anyone here using QSC amps?

Extreme over kill for home use, I'm looking into building my own PA soundsystem... This is the closest section on OCUK, as there isn't a Pro-sound section on here... And I thought "sound city" wouldn't be relevant at all as it's more about computer speakers... 
I do plan to power 4 horn type subwoofers with it, admittedly it's overkill, each driver is rated for 600Wrms, but I'll be using a limiter so I don't cook my voicecoils... but this thing appears to offer so much power I could power subs from 1 channel, and tops from the other (in mono admittedly)...
I was just wondering what QSC are like in terms of build quality and warranty, as it does seem amazing something less than 15Kg can produce so much power!

Your best off asking over at speakerplans or squatjuice. Lots of very knowledgable people over there who own rigs.
