Anyone here with experience with Ahsay OBM?

Ello, currently at work - no one has knowledge of this offsite backup and I need some help as one of the servers automatic backup is failing - pointless typing it out if no one knows about it though!

I've emailed but response time is rather long and i'd like to get it fixed asap...

The person I replaced was the only one with any knowledge of this backup and sadly i cannot contact him either!

Their support is usually quite quick, but yes we use it for a few of our customers and host the OBS in our building.

It's been two days so far, it was put as low priority.

Ever ran into any issues with

[error] Error loading configuration file. Reason='File "config.sys" does not exist. ? I checked the path it gave me and there is a config.sys.

Checked the install compared to another server and it's exactly the same and config.sys is clearly there. I've even reinstalled, moving the config directly to the folder, literally everything. (The one that doesn't work is server 2003 and one that does is 2012.)

I'm only an apprentice and I've worked here for 4 months now so any help would be great

Are you guys on the latest version? It's always worth upgrading if you're not.

Already checked that - all is updated to the latest version. It works flawlessly with 10 of our customers servers - it's just the automatic backup that does not work with this specific one, if I run it manually all works well.

Further research - Our current OBS is on 6.23.0.0 and the latest is 6.27.0.0

Checked the upgrade instructions and wow I'm confused. A tad worried I will mess it up if i'm honest.

Yeah, unfortunately their upgrade process isn't the easiest.

Have you completely deleted the job on both OBS and OBM, then re-create it from OBM?

No, I just reinstalled OBM on the server itself then logged in and that comes up in the log file. Did the exact same steps on a 2012 server and it worked flawlessly (was an upgrade from 2008 to 2012).

Do I have to delete it in OBS and start fresh? From what I can tell this backup has never worked (was first installed 3 months ago by previous employee)

If i was to delete the job and make a new one - is it just a case of Manage User - add user etc etc or going into the specific user name of said company?

config.sys. Do they run Dos or something?
