They're currently giving me my best quote at £380, renewal is £445 through Greenlight/Highway.

Just wondering what they're like to deal with? Yay, nay?

Been with them for 2 years on the RS6, no probs so far, although will be switching to Admiral I think come renewal as they are way cheaper :)

I'm with them, just signed up to my 5th year I think. No problems with my claim etc.

Cheapest price I could find on my Octavia, still cheapest if I was to get it remapped too.

Have you mentioned that price to Greenlight? As they may decide to price match.

To be honest, I've read a few things about Highway (who provide the insurance) that weren't very positive so I'm considering my options. Chris Knott have given me a decent quote with a low excess and protected NCB, which is also provided by Highway.

Been with them a few years, no problems really. Also have been with higway in the past, had 2 claims to sort whilst with them and they were fine. Only switched as Priv were cheaper and had a 0% finance deal on at the time.

I am with privilege for the MX-5 and will shortly be with them for the 7 series - total cost of £850 for me and the wife insured on the Mazda and the BMW, with my 6 points and the wife being epileptic and having had a claim. Happy enough with that!

With Privalege for the Cossie - one of the cheapest quotes.

I was also with them on my modded Sierra many years ago - they fought tooth and nail for me when a taxi pulled out on me - they got the cash for me so I could choose my own repairers (it wasn't a run of the mill Sierra).

Ive been with Privilege for a year now, no one else could match their quote. My dad has been with them for over 10 years and havent had any problems.

Sounds promising then, another advantage is they will stick my GF on for a nominal fee, with Greenlight/Highway it's something like £300...

the wife being epileptic

I was under the impression that being epileptic would mean she would have to surrender her Licence? - I know this is certainly true for HGV drivers.

I'd imagine having some kind of fit whilst driving ,regardless of what type of vehicle, is not good....

Pardon me for asking btw - I'm guessing she's controlling it with prescribed drugs?

Privilege for 1 year had 1 claim, watch and check the excess mate as its usually 150 compulsary and making it 400. Just renewed with them as they beat greenlight and chris knot and threw in protected NCB aswell. Claim with them was really good, delayed but it was the other drivers faffing about mainly causing that.

You have to be fit free for a year, or generally on meds to control it. She lost her licence twice, each time for a year after having fits but now she's controlled she's fine to drive. Just have to keep the DVLA informed.

Cheers for clearing that up, I wish you & her all the best, not the nicest of conditions, I sincerely hope she keeps it in check. :)

Been with them now three and a half years. Although I've not had to go through the claims procedure with them they have been usually dilligent in the supply of up to date documentation and thier care (on paper) is top drawer with fully comp.
