I have a mate who works at a lab, anyway they are a bit slow at the moment (seasonal work) and I was having a moan about how all the good wheel cleaners are either hideously expensive or just require too much elbow grease.

Anyway, for a token fee, hes spent a couple of days mixing up some recipes for me to try, and based on what I find hes gonna mix up a larger batch, so, would like to know if any of you car cleaning experts out there may want to give it a go also?

Who knows, it could be the start of an ocuk cleaning range :D

Will it allow me to effortlessly spray on and wipe off chain fling and general muck from my bike wheels?

If so I'll take a bucket.

This time next week...

Took all the muck off my car guys!

I'll give it a whirl, if you really want a test for it I'll try it on some of the HGV's at work....

Wow! Ok, i think that will do for now :D

I'll be getting my samples probably Monday or Tuesday, and once ive given them a go i'll get in touch :)

Given the plethora of tried and tested products out there why would you risk your wheels trying a random concoction? What's the benefit?

Why not? If i find something that works and can be made on the cheap direct from a lab then im all for the savings.

It's not like it's been knocked up by dodgy dave in his bath from a selection of the finest bleach and drain unblocker from under his sink...or has it
