Always had 00 guage Hornby trains before but haven't had any for years. Got the little itch to get building again but this time ive decided to go for the smaller n guage due to space constraints. Should get a nice layout on a 3ftx2ft board.

Already started the collection with a GWR Hall loco, 3x MK1 coaches, 2x LNER teak coaches and a suburban brake coach. All for a bargain £50 :D

Never liked N gauge! Prefer 00, My Dad is heavily into Model Railways, Dedicated his Spare Room to it!, Quite a few Logos etc... I own a couple of Rare Locos/Sets - Original A4 Malard, LMS Dutchess or Hamilton and an APT set.

But I'd love a Gauge 1 Live Steam layout in the garden! A couple of problems though... I can't afford even a Gauge 1 shunter (let alone a decent Loco) and I live in a flat (so don't have a garden! :D )

Pfft N guage, far too fiddly. O guage is where its at. do RJH still do the moderm image kits?

£10,000 worth of 00 anyone :P (Ish anyways, depends on how replacement values are calculated)

Basically speaking it's BR Western Region diesel stock, approx 1960- 1990, with some other odd bits and bobs that I've acquired along the way when I liked the look of them :)
Mostly Lima locos and coaching stock with some older Hornby and a few new Bachmann bits added in for good measure.

No layout as such at the minute mind :(

Good friend of mine at the model club also has approx £70,000 worth of Z and T gauges (Magnifying glass please; 1mm & 0.5mm to the foot.....) plus a lot of Dutch HO gear too.

not been into modelling in a good ten years but was tempted last yeat to get back into building some 0 gauge 80's stuff but a quick look at some of the modern Bachmann 00 offerings has piqued my interest

My dad had a 20ft x 7ft N gauge layout consisting of Aussie loco's and rolling stock when I was growing up. We used to love playing on it. Now his eyes aren't quite as good, he has moved to a 30ft x 10ft 00 gauge layout. The track has been laid but he is still sorting out the wiring for a complete digital track. I'd like to have a layout of my own, but don't have the time, money or space.

Would like to build a new 00 gage. Not had a set since the large one I had in my parents loft some 20+ years ago. Just don't have the space or £.
