Anyone know a 'Luke Nurcombe'?

I was hunting for a copy of Knights of the Nine on the MM the other week, and got an email from said luke saying he had a copy. We agreed on a price and I paypal'd the money across there and then, but didn't notice straight-off that the email cad come to me direct, rather than through trust. Now it's two weeks down the line, no KotN, and I've no idea who this dude is, or what he goes by on OcUK, if at all. I sent a couple of emails, but no reply, and I'm getting the strong impression that I've been had.
