As Philly says, I'm on Vista Home Prem x64 and CPUZ works fine. Try Philly's suggestions first. Failing that, make sure you have the most recent version of CPUZ and run windows update if required.

as everyone said above, try and get ya hands on the latest drivers as could be bad communication or something, but would try all the above suggestions first. i had vista x64 ultimate and it worked tickerybo for me

they worked fine 4 me in xp on same rig. and i do have latest vertion of everything and am runing the program as admin.

Edit: Oh lol i put vista. i meant to put windows 7. it works fine for me in vista. facepalm

xP which version of win 7? im on build 7100 64bit and again both for fine for me without having to run as admin or anything... curious

have you got any annoying security software like kerpersky(as a example) that like taking the hooks out. ?

it might just let it go under vista..... I know that was stupid question to ask, but still...if its casuing instablities than thier is something wrong, is it all upto date i mean windows and the versions of cpuz/GPUz ?

okay sounds like you have a bit of a problem with win 7 lol

do you have any security software that likes disabling exes and stuff? but letting in go in vista my last problem thing or I m stuffed :(

could always ask about the chipset drivers :P

I'm running win7 x64, and AVG, and both cpuz and gpuz load and work fine.
Try dropping your UAC to a lower setting? tho tbh, it should jus ask, and then allow

Try running the X64 version with the free (for now) Win7 Kapersky's

runs fine here....
