As Philly says, I'm on Vista Home Prem x64 and CPUZ works fine. Try Philly's suggestions first. Failing that, make sure you have the most recent version of CPUZ and run windows update if required.
as everyone said above, try and get ya hands on the latest drivers as could be bad communication or something, but would try all the above suggestions first. i had vista x64 ultimate and it worked tickerybo for me
have you got any annoying security software like kerpersky(as a example) that like taking the hooks out. ?
it might just let it go under vista..... I know that was stupid question to ask, but still...if its casuing instablities than thier is something wrong, is it all upto date i mean windows and the versions of cpuz/GPUz ?
I'm running win7 x64, and AVG, and both cpuz and gpuz load and work fine.
Try dropping your UAC to a lower setting? tho tbh, it should jus ask, and then allow
