anyone know about 1u servers

i help run a gaming clan and rent a 1u server but the hardware is only just up to the job and is on the edge of the 1gb memory ie duel core 1.6ghz 1gb ram 160gb hdd 100mb connection

for a good server im looking at 250 a month or more for somthing that is going to run 4 32 player tf2 servers for example (1 on each core)

so im thinking of building my own

so can any stuff i can buy here fit inside a 1u server case? maybe somthing with onboard graphics

im thinking of puting in a quad core 6600 4gb ram raid mirror a couple of slow reliable sata hdd's and windows 2003 server then get it colocated for about 80 quid a month with 2500gb bandwith on 100mb conection

what do you think ?

tbh, if you're going to colo it your best off just buying a brand new pre-built box.

HP and Dell do some quite decent ones.

The website isnt running at the moment, due to a rebuild, but goto www.hopdatasolutions.com, we rent our clan box from them and it costs us less than half of what you are paying. Dedicated box. We run 2x 32player CS:S and a 32 player CoD4 on ours. We do get a special rate because our clan leader does all his graphics and helps with the website.
