Anyone know about Bike MOT's

As my project's almost done now (just got to wait until the weather clears up to give it a wash and polish) I'll be booking it in for it's MOT next week.

I've got absolutely no idea what's involved in a car MOT, let alone a bike one (never owned anything long enough to put anything in for an MOT before)

I've heard that I don't need to worry about emissions on it and that noise levels are discretionary but that's about it.

Can anyone tell me the things to check before I book it? I've spent weeks fixing it and I'd be devastated if it failed

It's an E marked Laser can, stupendously loud for a 400 but it's passed with it on before so I'm hoping it'll pass again

Lights etc are all there and working, I just need to sort out the timing on the indicators as I replaced them for LED's and can't seem to get it quite right
