So I really want to buy one of the LG C1 OLED's. But have realised how chunky the stand is for it.

Does anyone have any experience in desk vesa mounts which would be suitable for this project. The TV weighs 15kgs, and a mount i saw on here is capable of 2 monitors for a max 20 kilo. But has small 100 x 100mm vesa mounts. For the TV you would need 300 x 200, OK you could use the 2 different mounting heads from multiple monitor mounts, but is there a way to get an attachment which would mount correctly to the TV.

Really appreciate any help on this one.

Cheers.

You'd need something like the Ergotron Vesa Bracket Adapter Kit 97-759. Fits to a 100 X 100 Vesa bracket and works with 300 X 200 mounting points. You could probably pair this with any desktop mount that has a 100 X 100 Vesa bracket. If you wanted to stick with Ergotron then their HX mount is decent quality but they're not cheap so you may find similar cheaper alternatives as long as they're rated for the weight you've mentioned.

You also need to check the distance from the bottom of the TV to the bottom of the Vesa mount points. The Ergotron I think has a height reach of about 29 cm so you need something that will ensure the TV will sit above the desk. The 29cm is between the desk and the 100 X 100 Vesa bracket which would be less than this once fitting the adapter kit. Some mounts you can get extension arms for but am not sure if you can for the HX. The other alternative might be to get the wall mount version, providing it's not a sit stand desk you're trying to mount to?
