Hi all,

My Media PC has an AMD A8-3850 integrated graphics processor at the moment but i notice my motherboard GIGABYTE GA-A75M-D2H supports dual graphics, now as i read it it's not dual displays but the ability to add a PCI-E 6000 series graphics card to the system and then this adds to the graphics power of the integrated graphics on the A8 processor.

Has anyone done this?, does it make much difference? would it be worth it for me on my media pc where i do not really play any games?

thanks all

Not worth it unless you game / the iGP struggles with what you use it for (playing whatever media formats @ native res).

Its a form of crossfire. You use the extra card AND your integrated gfx together to run games at higher frame rates.

If you don't need it, its just extra cost, heat, power and noise.
