Anyone know about washing machine motors?

Our washing machine has stopped spinning completely. I've taken the back off and the belt seems fine, tried to check the carbon brushes but noticed the inside of the motor seems to be quite wet. Is it worth ordering new brushes or would you say the motor is unsalvageable?

Sorry all I was a bit busy after I posted so didn't come back to this, we ordered a new one.

It was definitely wet so there must have been a leak somewhere, although the floor wasn't wet so it must have all just gone into the motor.

you'll want to find out the reason for the leak or you could well be just killing a new motor if the leak is still there.
