Anyone know anything about label printing?

I am trying to print labels using a zebra printer regularly from data from a CSV.

Our format on the label is as follows-

SKU -
Description -
Quantity -

The SKU and Description are in a CSV and the quantity is different for each label.

The end user needs to type into the software the SKU and Quantity and the software should just print a label on a zebra printer. Has anyone ever done anything like this before? I have tried using the zebra pro software but its interface is poor and seems to struggle with the amount of records (10,000) it takes about 30 seconds every time you want to print a label.

Do you know what printer it is we have a gk420d and it seems to print a lot faster than that. It's only a small one.

It's a 420d, however it's the software which is causing the issue.

It has to load up 10,000 records for you to pick which one you want to print and that seems to slow down the software somewhat.

I've tried nicelabel today which seems to work well but is nearly twice the price.

Might just be the case of having to bite the bullet on this one unfortunately, the software probably can't handle that many requests at once. We don't have print that much from it so I can't really say we are having the same issue as that.

Had similar issues, admins had to manually enter the information as it was taking too long (millions of records to search through) so we created a front end where they could type in the case number, it would retrieve the information and they copied and pasted it over.
